This policy sets out how BABCP (“the Association”) will treat personal information of visitors to and/or users
of the main Association website, CBT Café and online CBT Register UK (“online services”).
INFORMATION COLLECTED BY BABCP
BABCP may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:
Information about your computer and about your visits to and use of the online services (this may include your
IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit,
page views, website navigation).
Information that you provide for the purpose of registering to the BABCP’s online services and email notification.
Any other information that you choose to send to us, including information relating to any transactions or updates
carried out between you and BABCP on or in relation to online services.

The Association’s online services may use both session and/or persistent cookies.

All the Association’s online financial transactions are handled through SagePay. SagePay’s
BABCP will share information with SagePay as appropriate to the transaction being carried out
only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via the Association’s
online services and dealing with queries relating to such payments.
BABCP may disclose information about you to any of our paid or elected officers, agents, suppliers

All the personal information you provide will be stored on the Association’s secure servers.
These servers are password- and firewall- protected. All electronic transactions containing personal
details that you make to or receive from BABCP will be encrypted using SSL technology.
It should be noted that data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and as such
BABCP cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. BABCP will not ask
you for your password (except when you log in to the Association’s online services).

This will normally be expressly agreed by you in advance to the Association’s use of your
personal information for marketing purposes, or you will be provided with an opportunity to
opt-in to the use of your personal information for marketing purposes.

The Association’s online services contain links to third party websites. BABCP is not
responsible for the privacy policies or practices of these websites.
UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
It is your responsibility to inform BABCP if the personal information which the
Association holds about you needs to be corrected or updated.
