The Department of Health Sciences at the University of York will be starting
its next Short-Term CBT course on Wednesday 26th September 2012.

This intermediate-level course is designed for clinicians who have some case management responsibility for patients with mild to moderate mental health problems and provides an excellent way of developing your CBT clinical skills in depression and anxiety disorders.

The course is also an ideal instrument to access further CBT training to eventually gain accreditation as a CBT practitioner with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

To apply, you need to be a registered practitioner with some understanding of CBT and need to be able to work clinically with at least three patients experiencing mild to moderate levels of depression or anxiety in primary care mental health, community mental health or out-patient or day hospital settings. You also require the support of your manager or employer.
