Branch Events

The BABCP Southern Branch has as one of its primary aims ensuring that there are adequate opportunities for BABCP members to attend good quality training events held locally in the South. To this end BABCP Southern Branch organises training events to be held locally, making use of local expertise and attracting speakers and trainers from further afield. In the past two years, with the advent of the introduction of the IAPT programme - Improving Access to Psychological Therapies - within the NHS, some of the training providers for IAPT have been providing training events which have been open to all local practitioners. In the light of this the Branch has decided to collaborate and provide training jointly when appropriate and to reduce our own programme of events.
