Manchester 2010 Programme Change

BABCP Scientific Committee writes...

We hope you are looking forward to the BABCP conference next week. We are emailing with an important announcement, which relates to a change in the conference programme.

As you may already know, this year we have replaced paid in-conference workshops with free skills classes. These skills classes will run in parallel to symposia, panel discussions and clinical roundtables during the main conference programme, from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 July.

You will not need to register for the skills classes, but places are first-come-first-served, and please note that this means we will not be able to provide attendance certificates.

Since the production of the conference programme there have been two changes to the programme of skills classes.

Unfortunately, David M Clark is no longer able to deliver the skills class on panic disorder. This will be delivered by a member of his team, Nick Grey. This skills class will take place on Thursday, from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Please note that all of Professor Clark's other conference commitments still stand.  This time is indicated correctly on the at-a-glance tables in the printed programme you will receive at the conference, but there is an error in the text of the programme.

In addition, regrettably we have had to cancel skills class 10, to be delivered by Rory Byrne, due to illness.

We apologise for these last minute changes, but nonetheless hope you are looking forward to the excellent scientific and social programme at this year's conference!
