BABCP is leading the way in furthering the provision of high-quality CBT in the UK and Ireland and has a diverse membership of more than 14,000, working in both the public and private sectors, as well as student members and those simply interested in CBT. Currently, more than 60% of our members are accredited practitioners, and we also accredit 45 Higher Education CBT courses.
We have recently launched our PWP register, with the intention of expanding this to more roles within the Wellbeing Practitioner workforce, and we have also applied to have our CBT Register UK accredited by the Public Standards Authority (PSA).
We are now seeking nominations from members to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee you are responsible for managing BABCP in accordance with our Memorandum and Articles of Association as well as charity and company legislation.
Do you have what it takes to help shape the future of BABCP? In addition to your passion for developing the theory and practice of CBT, you will want to contribute to the strategic direction of the Association. Previous experience as a Trustee or similar position would be helpful, but not essential.
Nominations for five Trustee positions on the BABCP Board are now open. We are seeking –

If you want to nominate yourself for any of the Trustee roles, please complete the Nominations Form below and return it by email to elections@babcp.com by no later than 23 July 2021.
