IAPT Clinical Lead – Ealing, West London
We are looking for a talented Clinical Lead to join the fast-paced West London NHS Trust Improving Access to Psychological Therapies teams in the borough of Ealing. We are looking for someone who excels as a clinician and leader, and who relishes a challenging and diverse role.
A £10,000 golden hello will be offered to the successful candidate and relocation expenses are also available.
Successful candidates will have:
- experience in the operational management of an IAPT service
- a proven track record of IAPT line management and performance management,
- a detailed understanding of the IAPT key performance indicators
- the ability to deliver a high volume and high quality clinical service
- a good understanding of all aspects of clinical governance and
- a firm commitment to in the promotion of and investing in staff wellbeing.
The postholder will be supported by two Deputy Clinical Leads and several senior High Intensity therapists, who form the service’s senior team. The team regularly receives great feedback from service users through Patient Opinion and Patient Experience Questionnaires.
The team offers a range of individual and group therapies and have well developed clinical services for women in the perinatal period and those with long-term health conditions. The team has strong relationships with the GPs and commissioners in the borough, and consistently achieve access and recovery targets.
The service forms part of the Psychological Medicine Service Line within Local Services at West London NHS Trust, which includes related services such as Clinical Health Psychology and Liaison and Perinatal Psychiatry. This provides opportunities for shared learning and collaboration. There is ample peer support available to the post-holder with close contact with the other IAPT leads in the Trust, and other senior clinicians and managers within the service line. Regular clinical and line management supervision is provided, and the post holder will work closely with the Head of Psychology and Clinical Director of the Service Line as well as the Executive Deputy Director of Local Services. The Service Line also benefits from input from the Trust Head of Psychological Therapies.
