Lecturers in Evidence-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapies


We are seeking to appoint well-qualified and highly experienced IAPT stepped care professionals with a recognised qualification and full accreditation in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. In this role, you will contribute across the developing IAPT professional training portfolio of high intensity CBT training in mental health and wellbeing that has been commissioned by Health Education East of England and also contribute to discrete projects of UEA training commissioned by others. You will provide regular delivery of teaching, supervision, student assessment and examination, providing support for students’ personal and professional development, academic planning and preparation and other duties as necessary for the provision of high quality professional psychological therapies education.

You will be required to deliver appropriate mental health support to students experiencing mental health difficulties whilst at University to enable them to engage successfully with their studies. This includes clinical assessment, risk management, responding to crisis situations, and collaborative working both within the University and externally. You will also have a caseload of complex students who require longer term support and monitoring.
