IAPT High Intensity CBT therapist
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CBT therapist to join The Eaves, a thriving family owned counselling and psychology practice, providing a range of psychological services to private clients and NHS patients throughout Surrey.
The Eaves is open 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and is dedicated to providing accessible, professional care to clients from our large team of Counsellors, Psychotherapists, and Psychologists working in private practice.
Due to the success of our relationship with the NHS Surrey and Borders IAPT service Mind Matters, we are looking to recruit a BABCP accredited CBT therapist to join The Eaves to provide Step 3 IAPT therapy to local NHS patients.
The role will consist of 15-20 hours a week working short term (6-8 sessions) with patients at our practices in Guildford, Godalming or Farnham. This is an ideal opportunity for someone working within the NHS who is looking to gain experience of private practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Worked within the NHS and preferably IAPT services
- Good diary management
- Good computer skills
- Availability to work Saturdays and evenings will be an advantage

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
