Accreditation

This is the Register of all CBT therapists in the UK and Ireland, who have been accredited by the BABCP and/or AREBT.

Therapists need to meet strict criteria to become Accredited by either organisation. These include being a member of a specified core profession, following minimum training standards, having a sustained commitment to the theory and practice of cognitive and behavioural therapies, maintaining appropriate supervision arrangements.

This ensures that all accredited CBT Therapists have achieved a high level of competence in cognitive and behavioural methods, which has also been independently verified.
