Head of Clinical Network Governance 

Location: York

Salary: £50-60k per annum dependant on experience

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. (Hybrid and Remote working Options available)

The Head of Clinical Network Governance for Onebright will ensure our strategic clinical supply complies with our requirements to deliver clinically appropriate interventions which are in line with the instructions provided by NICE guidelines, evidence based best practice and our quality framework.

• Act as a role model for good professional practice, coaching and mentoring our network clinicians in working effectively within our boundaries whilst delivering excellent outcomes
• Ensure the relevant structures are in place to manage and monitor the clinical network, providing relevant feedback and opportunities for improvement
• Devise (where appropriate) and oversee clinical governance metrics to understand clinical outcomes and clinical performance of the clinical network providing reports and analysis as required
• Audit clinical issues/standards against the clinical governance & audit framework, ensuring effective clinical operational activity ie individual metrics on competency framework, drop out, DNA’s
• Provide direction on management of requests for change of modality within active treatment episodes/cycles and ensure there is a clear process in place
• Work closely with the Head of Partnerships, the broader network team and recruitment as appropriate to manage the quality aspects of strategic supply
• Ensure relevant processes and procedures are in place to monitor clinical supervision and CPD activities of the clinical network
• Oversee the relevant reporting and management of safeguarding and clinical incidents which occur within the clinical network
• Oversee the management of complaints investigations / resolutions, conducting root cause analysis of clinical network complaints as appropriate, ensuring that findings feed a cycle of continuous improvement
• Liaise with network clinicians to ensure that feedback in relation to clinical complaints is undertaken in a timely manner
• Ensure all concerns about clinical practice are robustly investigated and reported to the required governing/accrediting bodies
• Provide consultation and advice to senior clinical leadership and operational colleagues as required

To be successful in this role you will need to evidence and demonstrate your previous clinical experience:

• Must hold a Professional qualification in psychological therapies and registered with the relevant clinical body.
• Significant experience at a senior clinical level of managing the delivery and improvement of services within a complex and diverse organisation in the psychological and mental health environment.
• Demonstrates knowledge or experience of MH transformation
• Significant clinical experience at a senior level in the management of clinicians from a broad spectrum of backgrounds
• Demonstrates knowledge of a broad spectrum of clinical therapy deliveries and expected outcomes.
• Must be prepared to to travel occasionally to attend management meetings at our offices.
