CBT for non-epileptic seizures

This is an online, participative event on the Zoom meeting platform, organised by the Long Term Conditions Special Interest Group (LTC SIG).

The event will not be recorded.

A certificate of attendance will be issued for 3 x hours CPD - 50/50 skills and theory.

Registration closes - Midday Wednesday 29 March. Places are limited though so book early to avoid disappointment.

Aims and Objectives
The participants will:

• understand maintenance factors in NES
• practice engaging these patients
• practice skills in addressing maintenance factors

• The attendee will describe the mechanisms underlying this disorder
• The attendee will practice grounding techniques
• The attendee will describe the role of trauma in this disorder and increase skills in using trauma-based therapies here
