Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a community within the larger BABCP organisation with a shared interest in advancing a specific area related to CBT. Each SIG has a committee made from the membership who are responsible for the running of the SIG and its activities. The SIG should aim to promote the interest of the organisation, provide a forum for discussion amongst members and facilitate training and dissemination of information.
If you are a BABCP member and would like to join any of the SIGs, please click here. This will add you to the mailing list for email notifications about events, meetings and other news. Please note, this a member only benefit. If you are not a BABCP member and are interested in joining us, find details here.
Special Interest Groups can be set up by submitting a proposal to us with a rationale for its creation along with interest from at least 15 members. Download the Special Interest Group proposal form [Word].
