Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a community within the larger BABCP organisation with a shared interest in advancing a specific area related to CBT. Each SIG has a committee made from the membership who are responsible for the running of the SIG and its activities. The SIG should aim to promote the interest of the organisation, provide a forum for discussion amongst members and facilitate training and dissemination of information.
Special Interest Groups can be set up by submitting a proposal to BABCP with a rationale for its creation along with interest from at least 15 members. Download the Special Interest Group proposal form [Word].
