This policy applies if you have not been in clinical practice for any period of time and you intend to apply for BABCP Wellbeing Practitioner Registration. It applies if you were previously registered as a Wellbeing Practitioner or you are currently out of clinical practice and intend to register with us.
If your BABCP Registration has lapsed, you must complete a Return to Practice for Wellbeing Practitioners Application form to return to the Wellbeing Practitioner section of the CBT Register UK and Ireland.

Please note - your professional referee must submit their reference to us directly at wellbeing.reports@babcp.com.

Please submit your Return to Practice application - along with your supplement if required - to wellbeing.admin@babcp.com,ensuring the subject line contains: “Return to practice”. After receiving your submission, we will issue your return to practice invoice and notify you of this. If we do not receive payment within 30 days of this notification, your application will be deleted, and you will need to re-apply. Once we have received your payment, we will process your application.
Audit
Registered practitioners must maintain registration standards, including supervision and CBT informed CPD. After being placed on the Wellbeing section of the CBT Register UK and Ireland, all practitioners joining the Register via the Return to Practice route will be audited in six months.

When you are called to audit, if you are not in clinical practice, you will be removed from the Register and will have to re-apply and repeat the above process.
